I am so happy we have stuck with karate. I love the boys' teacher and I love the mindset of martial arts. Now that I teach full time I see how much disrespect and laziness is out there. Yes, I know I sound old and traditional but I am amazed by how much time kids spend on xbox and whatnot and don't get outdoors, read, etc. There is so much disrespect for teachers here... yes, in Asia it was a bit extreme but I wish there was something in between. I love that the boys learn discipline and respect. I am a fan!
